Jr A Lakers 2018 Home Opener

President Brad Hara, General Manager Brad Parker, and Head Coach Jason Dallavalle are excited to mark the opening of the Junior A Lakers 2018 season with a home opener at Bill Copeland Arena on Sunday, May 6th at 4pm against the Jr A Victoria Shamrocks.

Our 2018 training camp has gone very well and fans will see several new additions to this year’s lineup, acquired through trades and free agency. The 2018 Jr A Lakers are a much larger, more skilled team than we’ve seen in the past, with strategic additions to goal-tending, defence and other key positions. Fans will see a more engaged team on the floor and we’re energized and looking ahead to a great 2018!

In addition to changes to the roster and in community commitment, this year’s team is working with new management and volunteers with fresh, realigned values and commitment to players, fans and the broader community. Supporters will see we have expanded both coaching and player development staff and have a core group of volunteers eager to support this team as we carry on the Laker legacy.
