Floris named Assisant Coach with the Lakers

Head Coach Jason Dallavalle is pleased to announce that Jamie Floris has been appointed as Assistant Coach of the Burnaby Lakers Jr A lacrosse team. 

Jamie played Jr “A” lacrosse for St. Catharines A’s form 2000 - 2005 with Minto Cups in 2001 & 2003. He headed west and played Sr “A” Lacrosse in New West 2006 - 2012, and has played in the NLL 2008-2011with both the Rush and Mammoth. He gave back to the New West Minor Lacrosse by coaching the Midget team from 2011 & 2012 with a Provincial title in 2012. Then went on to coach the Int A team for 2013 which he one the Coach of the Year award.  

“We are very happy to have Jamie on our coaching staff as he has a great mind for the game of lacrosse from playing at high levels thru out his career”, said Jamie Scott, GM.
